Anchor Field – Claustrophobia (22nd September 2012)
A limited edition CD release is available as well as a digital worldwide release. Anchor Field played a CD release gig on 22nd September 2012, where some of the songs from “Claustraphobia” were included.
Anchor Field frontman Alexey Spectre and The Feckers co-founder Richard Anderson will continue work on their upcoming “Method In The Madness” side project into 2013-2014, which once again promises to be dramatic and push the boundaries of all things rock, included in the recording of this project will be all the members of Anchor Field, along with several other musicians/singers from around the world.

The “New Life” collection is more of an acoustic based album whereas the “Wonderful World” is more of a full rock based project, featuring tunes written by Rob Smith over the period of time from 1974-2012.

2 solo albums into his career (“Get The Vision” and “Guitarville”), Indonesian guitar whizz Ponch Satrio (also a member of The Feckers) is at it again with the shred…this time working on his next project entitled ”Dark Revolution”
In his Ponch’s own words:
“well this time it will be a metal bliss, back to… the root with some progressive neo-classical and fusion here and there, nothing fancy though, I think the year 2012 is the right time for my Dark Revolution project”.

Method In The Madness is a proposed 2014/2015 release featuring the music of Richard Anderson, Alexey Spectre & Leon “The Madman” Schouten.
“The music of MiTm is a bit more of what we call skitzophrenic rock/metal….I had always wanted to work within the realms of something along the lines of a rock opera, working with Alexey has afforded this to happen, finally! He is great at getting into character when singing and delivering a real experience when you hear him sing….this stuff is about as heavy as I get writing and listening wise, fans of progressive leanings of Alexey’s music should really dig the ideas that we are throwing around. We’ve decided that a few of the old songs that we co-wrote with my pal Leon deserve to see the light of day, it’s just been working out when there would be a gap in our schedules to see this project through to completion…it was always going to happen after The Feckers and Anchor Field debut’s were knocked off!, We have managed to coerce some of our Feckers co-horts into making the odd cameo appearance too.”

“Alexey Spectre and I have decided to push this project further, we initially were just going to release an album that we felt had a bit of a theme going on, but my dream of writing a rock opera is about to come true!!!. Featured on the upcoming album will be a storyline, a narrative, character voice overs and loads of songs. This is going to be an extremely challenging project for us to work on, but we relish the challenge and look forward to working with a few of our friends out there in the big wide world to create something weird and wonderful – the concept that I have come up with and am now scripting is going to be something different to any of the projects that I have worked on in the past…it should prove to be something altogether epic.”

Latest word is that Queeness/Annan (and former Kween) vocalist Yohei Eto is working on new solo material for potentially a 2013 release. Pre-production for this project will continue throughout the year. There may be some involvement in this project from a couple of The Feckers, but it is yet to be confirmed what that involvement may be, so watch this space.
Yohei is also confirmed as a vocalist for the 2nd The Feckers album.
